B. Kolesnikov Charitable Foundation donated new ICUs to Donetsk oblast' hospitals

On July 27, Boris Kolesnikov Charitable Foundation donated four mobile intensive care units (ICUs) to Krasnoarmeysk central rayon hospital and Konstantinovka ambulance station, as reported by press office Boris Kolesnikov Foundation.
Two Ford
ICUs and two ambulance Gazelle vehicles were procured and equipped at the costs of Boris Kolesnikov Charitable Foundation. Marina Dedenko, Director of the Foundation and MP Denis Omelyanovich gave the car keys to the rayon representatives.
The report says that today's ambulance vehicles are not suitable for medical services.
85% of ambulance cars in Krasnoarmeysk rayon are over 10 years old and 100% obsolete. 8 emergency units are equipped with only 11 cars.
In Konstantinovka rayon all 11 emergency vehicles are from 6 to 13 years old and have to be written off as such cars tend to wear out after only 4 years of use (average mileage for an emergency vehicle is 80-100 thousand km a year).
New "first aid" cars would significantly save the
arrival time of medical teams to place and improve the quality of medical services", - says the Foundation representative.
