Ukrainian rural priest Mykhailo Zhar took care of 15 more orphans

Pastor of Svyato-Voznesesky Banchensky monastery near Chernivtsi, father Mykhaylo Zhar took in his family 15 orphans and children deprived of parental care from Luhansk region, as the
press service of Luhansk Regional State Administration reported.
Father Mykhaylo is raising up mainly disabled children in his family, the report says.
Currently about 300 orphans and children deprived of parental care are brought up in father Mykhaylo's family. Among the "graduates" of the family there are more than 100 disabled children, 49 HIV-infected and suffering from HIV/AIDS.
Mykhaylo Zhar became a monk in 1997 and became the rector of Svyato-Voznesesky Banchensky monastery for men. He was awarded the Order "For Merit", 3rd rate, and the title of the Hero of Ukraine.
