Petr Poroshenko opens new quay and the dancing fountain in Vinnitsa

A new quay called after Petro Poroshenko company Roshen and a dancing fountain were open on the last Summer Sunday in Vinnitsa. The construction lasted six years and cost UAH 70 milion; it became one of the world's biggest fountains. 

The fountain is a floating construction on the river Southern Bug. Starting from September 5 and till the first cold the fountain will operate daily from 12:00 to 22:00. 
The project was implemented at the expense of the Petro Poroshenko Foundation, who took upon the costs for reconstruction of Roshen embankment with its length of 700 m. The company as well has modernized the surrounding area of 16,5 thousand sq. m. and installed the new lighting system.

Why did you decide to go in for charity? What was the first impulse?
Every man, who has grown and been brought up in a proper family and society, cannot remain indifferent to problems that people around are facing. The realisation that there are people who desperately need your help gives you power and fosters the desire to help. It may sound pretentious, but if you are still capable of perceiving the pain of people as your own, you won’t be able to run charity.
